You've got to come see it! It's like a painting of a bird done in blood or something!" That covered the basic details of the situation, yes? Beyond that Isa didn't really know what to say. She was sure that this was part of some bigger evil plot, but there wasn't really any evidence of anything bad yet other than the painting. Professor Hirsch would know what to do, right? ..............
What in the name of?!
One minute, Hirsch was adding in a small footnote in someone's essay and the next, there was a pounding on his door, as if the person on the other side was prepared to break down his door using their bare hands. But the worst part were the words being shouted through the door from a very familiar voice. Something about weird, scary and....... blood?!
Again, what in the name of?!
Swearing under his breath, the man dumped his quill, grabbed his wand and rushed towards the door to pull it open. The fact that Isa was standing there didn't phase him, not when there was something bigger in the works as well. "Lead the way, Isa," he said, closing the door behind him and holding his wand aloft. Constant vigilance, you know? "And explain what happened." Especially if she noticed anything weird around the area.
