Emmeline did not usually go to professor's offices 'cept for Cami's Professor Stewart's, and sometimes Professor Marchand's. Even if she needed help on homework or something, she usually just bugged an older student in the common room. But this was kiiiiind of a possible emergency, and she didn't have time to consult library books or older students or anything.

So the second year found herself standing outside Professor Wayland's place, shifting nervously from foot to foot. She realllly hoped that this issue wasn't somehow her fault, but she HAD to tell the professor about it before it became a biiig problem. Emmeline reluctantly knocked on his door, kind of more loudly than she usually would. As soon as she'd finished knocking, she took to pacing across the porch type thing instead of sitting in one of the lawn chairs.
