"Thank you, I like to keep my work space updated with things that are meaningful and enjoying to me." Which meant her traveling, family and friends as well as pets. The smile on her lips widened and she nodded. "I did. I was part of the lucky group that was able to attend." As well as young Emmeline seeing as to how she was her guardian now. It had been a truly lovely wedding even if it had left her with many lingering thoughts about her own future. She was incredibly happy that two of her fellow colleagues and friends had found true happiness together.
"Wonderful! That's the excitement I like to hear," Cami smiled sitting up in her seat. This was what she liked to hear. "Sometimes taking a step back from everything helps us understand where our heart lies and what we need to continue forward with AND that's okay. I'm glad you figured out what you want to do and now you're on you're way to making that happen. Just don't push yourself to hard, remember this isn't a race and pacing yourself is always best." The last thing she wanted to hear about was students running themselves ragged and burning themselves out trying to complete tasks quicker than they needed to.
Professor Stewart laughed softly. "As much as I'm sure you're going to be so thrilled with this I'd like for you to write me another paper. I know, I know you've wrote me many before but this one is probably the most important of them all." She paused waiting to hear a groan that she was sure was to come. "In this research paper I would like for you to include several detailed parts. You need to tell me all about the mandrake leaf, ‘Amato Animo Animato Animagus,’ the electrical storm, the first transformation, and how to return to human form. It's a lot to cover but it's truly important that not only do you do this BUT that you also understand it fully. This paper will take you into the final stage of training." This was for lack of better words the 'Make it or break it' paper. One final assignment to prove Noelle know what she was doing and was ready to keep going forward.
Professor Stewart's office was very friendly and inviting. Noelle liked it. She glanced around it some more noticing the newer things in here. "
I was so surprised to hear that they got married." Maybe it was because she didn't really pay attention to the professor's relationships? She didn't even know if Hirsch had a special someone. Though, her and Ava thought that Reed and him had something going on. That was what was heard through the rumor mill.
Noelle couldn't keep the grin off her face when Professor Stewart's face lit up. She liked knowing that the professor believed in her so much. It gave her the confidence that she needed. Especially when she didn't think that she could do it some days.
"
It really did help. And it helped that I have some friends that are as stubborn as I am. They believe in me even when I don't believe in myself.' THATS what really pushed her through.
Oh..... a paper.
"
Another one??" Noelle groaned but knew that the light at the end of the tunnel was near. "
Of course!" This paper wouldn't be too hard to complete. She had already done something similar before. Noelle nodded. "
Of course. I can do that. "
