Sha’s cat only liked to let you pet her if she wanted it - as soon as you tried to move her, she was off and would hiss at you as she went. Nope, he knew animals could be temperamental. His fingers kept tickling under Bonsai’s chin though as he waited for an answer from the Professor.

Remy nodded. ”She did it around the end of Hogwarts, and around studying at University. So I guess she maybe wasn’t as strict with her training? I’m not sure… I just know she managed.” He gave the professor a smile. ”I’m hoping between yourself this year, and her next year .. I should be able to do it along with my own studying and training.” He was no stranger to training or keeping some kind of schedule. He’d been doing that for years now, with his Uncle’s help.

And then Remy laughed. He recognised that instant nope that came with drinking cold tea or coffee. He did have the good grace to look apologetic though… it wasn’t nice to laugh at someone else’s misfortune. ”Tea please, thank you.” Might as well take her up on the offer. It would be rude not too. Heh. He nodded along as he listened to her talking. ”Thank you.” He thought he was physically prepared, he trained daily after all… Mentally… That might take some time - but he had time. ”Yeah, I spoke to him after I got my OWL results, and I was working with him last year in the Hospital Wing. I’m going to go and speak to him either later today or tomorrow and make sure I can help out this year again.” It would look good on his University application… Yes, yes it would.

”Unfortunately, not that much.” Honesty was the best policy, and it would save him looking like an idiot. ”I know that you need to practice turning into various animals and a lot of animagi’ have found it helpful to write down their findings as they go so they can see their journal and reflect on it when they are in human form…” He paused and ticked Bonsai again. ”I am almost positive that the potion required has a lot of steps, and the potions ingredients are very advanced. I think I read something about it depending on a storm? So it could take forever to make?” That...seemed intriguing and amazing and so cool.
Well this was different. It wasn't often that the boys asked to hold Bonsai, normally it was all the young girls that wanted to cuddle her cat. The smile on her lips grew and she nodded. "You're welcome to hold him if you like. Due to some students having allergies he's learned not to just assume he can lay on everyone." That had taken awhile to get the kitty used to but it had needed to be done. If he was getting attention that's all that mattered. Bonsai happily nuzzled his head into Remy's arm accepting all the attention he was being given.

"Ah, well that's very likely if she was busy with other things. It's quite easy to get caught up in life at any age," Camilla replied with an understanding nod of her head. Especially right around those college years. "Well if you're truly dedicated and focused to the training we should be able to get you fairly far this term without to much trouble." Depending on his studies and other activities. Things needed to be kept balanced, she didn't want her students drowning in their studies and trying to keep up with other activities as well.

So focused on the horribleness of cold tea was she that his laugh wasn't a big deal. It was unfortuniate but also funny. Now that her own tea was warm it no longer matter. While they continued to talk she used a bit of charm work to get a mug, spoon and some water into the mug heating it and adding the tea bag. She liked using magicial means while talking with the students that way her attention wasn't fully taken away. "Are you finding that helpful with your career path?" She liked to know what the students thought about working with their professors.

Well that wasn't exactly what she liked to hear but she apprecated his honesty. It was alright though because even if he knew a lot they would be starting from the beginning to ensure his training was done properly. "This is true but that usually doesn't happen right away. I like to start my students off with quite a bit of reading, quizzes and essays to fully make them aware of all that this training entails." She paused to let that sink in. Many students didn't like the idea of reading and writing essays outside of lesson work. "There is indeed a potion that you will create on your own mostly with my guidance should you like it. However that won't happen until everything else is complete and you are ready for the finally stage of training before the transformation. It does rely on a storm and it could very well take years but that's not something you need to focus on right away."

Camilla gave the mug of tea she had been preparing a final stir before pushing it across her desk towards Remy. "There you are." Taking a sip of her own tea she thought for a moment. "I can give you the texts that I give to all the students I train and you are welcome to read it on your own time and write a detailed essay on your learnings." It was on him how quickly he accomplished that task.

"I like your new pictures." Noelle added when she finally saw them. She grinned and looked back at the professor. "Also did you hear about Professor Marchand getting married?" Opps. They were getting side tracked.

Back to business.

Noelle's smile spread as she was told they were going to try and turn before NEWTs. Perfect. She wanted to only be able to concentrate on NEWTs when it was time. NEWTs... speaking of... Noelle pulled out her hand dandy new calendar for this year. She already had everything marked into it. Scribbling things down on her calendar, she kindly put it away. "I can't wait!" She was more excited than nervous now about the transformation. And she couldn't wait to see what she'd transform into.

Noelle nodded though. "I am. Definitely am. Very strict now. I train more now. To make up for what I didn't train over the summer. I just... got down and hard on myself and lost hope. But with the help of my friends and boyfriend, plus a little soul searching, I realized that I was being dumb and I needed to do what I wanted to do. Not let other's opinions put me down." She'd show them. She'd show herself too. She'd become a little more confident over the summer. It was thanks to Ava, Noah, Hady, and Olly.

"So what should we do first?" She asked, going back to what the professor had said that they'd get to in a moment.
Over the pervious two terms she had had the pleasure to work alongside Noelle as she progressed forward in her training. She had watched the teen grow from a child into a very talented and capable young women whom she was sure would meet her goals no matter the amount of training needed.

"Thank you, I like to keep my work space updated with things that are meaningful and enjoying to me." Which meant her traveling, family and friends as well as pets. The smile on her lips widened and she nodded. "I did. I was part of the lucky group that was able to attend." As well as young Emmeline seeing as to how she was her guardian now. It had been a truly lovely wedding even if it had left her with many lingering thoughts about her own future. She was incredibly happy that two of her fellow colleagues and friends had found true happiness together.

"Wonderful! That's the excitement I like to hear," Cami smiled sitting up in her seat. This was what she liked to hear. "Sometimes taking a step back from everything helps us understand where our heart lies and what we need to continue forward with AND that's okay. I'm glad you figured out what you want to do and now you're on you're way to making that happen. Just don't push yourself to hard, remember this isn't a race and pacing yourself is always best." The last thing she wanted to hear about was students running themselves ragged and burning themselves out trying to complete tasks quicker than they needed to.

Professor Stewart laughed softly. "As much as I'm sure you're going to be so thrilled with this I'd like for you to write me another paper. I know, I know you've wrote me many before but this one is probably the most important of them all." She paused waiting to hear a groan that she was sure was to come. "In this research paper I would like for you to include several detailed parts. You need to tell me all about the mandrake leaf, ‘Amato Animo Animato Animagus,’ the electrical storm, the first transformation, and how to return to human form. It's a lot to cover but it's truly important that not only do you do this BUT that you also understand it fully. This paper will take you into the final stage of training." This was for lack of better words the 'Make it or break it' paper. One final assignment to prove Noelle know what she was doing and was ready to keep going forward.
