Kay had special privileges since Laurel regarded her as one of her closest and most dear friends. She had permission unlike most other Hogwartians staff included to just barge in to her office when she needed girlfriend time. Today though Laurel had trotted back up the 7 flight of stairs to her office with Kay to escape the too crowded and noisy staff room brought on by Paul's arrival and play announcement.
Going inside her office with her arms still full of the fresh goodies Laurel shook her head "Nonsense Kay, you don't need to apologize. I can always get details about the play of Fair Fortune later. You know Paul will keep talking about it especially if Regina agrees." Setting the scones and teapot down in the little comfy sitting group Laurel gestured for Kay to take a seat as she fetched the tea cups. "What did you want to ask me?" She had gathered that it was something important.
