Etta made her way to the third floor corridor for some patrol-time. Luckily, she'd finished with her homework earlier so once patrolling was done, she could go back and just sleep. Patrols used to be more nerve wracking than they were now. When Noelle had first started patrols, they would have her wand up high and every noise freaked her out. Now the resting of the castle at night didn't bother her. She listened out for noises but there were familiar noises, and then footsteps or other noises.
So she heard footsteps coming up behind her. Noelle turned to see and hear Etta say hey. She must be the other person on patrol today. She grinned and waved her lit wand. "
Hey!" She said in a loud whisper. Noelle started towards her and got beside her. "
Patrolling tonight too?" She asked just to make sure.
You could never be too sure.
