Potions was one of Sydney's favourite - and STRONGEST - subjects. She had scored an O for the subject in her OWLs and when she arrived at Hogwarts, she was determined to show her classmates just how good she was. Unfortunately, she realised quickly that she was not the only student here who was decent at brewing potions... slightly embarrassed, she stopped trying to show off. Still, she looked forward to Potions lessons. They were fun and she got to learn a great deal!
If only the lesson hadn't been scheduled so early in the morning. Stifling a yawn, the Hufflepuff entered the Potions classroom. She had not had time to put on her makeup, because she had woken up late. Walking past the Professor/Healer/very good-looking man at the front of the room, she smiled and waved. "Good morning, Professor." Hopefully she didn't look too bad... not that it mattered.
Looking around the classroom and not spotting anything special (apart from the two dogs, who got a smile from her as well), Sydney made her way to an empty seat and began preparing for the lesson.
