Shayla arrived for Potions class and she was ready. In her mind, she was ready to tackle whatever the professor had to throw at the class today. Once inside the classroom she made a beeline for her favorite seat. Fortunately it was unoccupied. "Hello Professor", she said along the way.

Shay dropped her book bag in the chair and then went to wash her hands. When she returned to her seat, she began to unpack her things and prepare for class. Once she had everything in order, Shay placed her textbook nearby and tried to imagine what they might be brewing for the day's lesson. She guessed she'd find out soon enough. In the meantime, she scanned her book and waited for class to begin.
