Personality:
Opinionated, cheerful and straightforward, Julie Bellaire might not have be the person most would envision when they think of Slytherin House. A fact the young girl sees as not only prejudice but "kind of dumb." She's more than a happy demeanor and friendly disposition. Having shown determination, foresight, a strong work ethic and intelligence on more than one occasion. Julie fights almost every day to prove herself not only to others but to herself, for Julie Bellaire's toughest and harshest critic is her own self. This judgmental attitude shows itself with her peers as well, albeit in a more playful or gossipy manner than outright criticism (Julie considers this harmless).

↳ Confident as the young girl might seem, the majority of her arrogance is played up to cover the deep and uncomfortable insecurities about not being 'good enough' and worries of not living up to the mantle of being a Bellaire. This insecurity has fostered a need and a hunger not only to succeed but to exceed every expectation and shatter the glass ceiling lest she be seen by her family as a failure. Very few know about these feelings of pressure and inadequacy save for close friend Takeru Asakura and BEST FRIEND Dorm-mate Mairwen Baines. Fiercely protective of her friends, it takes a lot of down-talking to keep the Slytherin from sticking her nose in to right what she perceives as wrong, most of the time she is able to practice restraint but others... Not so much. However, her heart is in the right place as she truly loves and supports her friends as much as she can (even when she doesn't exactly understand what they're on about).

↳ Honest as she is inclined to be, Julie is not above bending the truth or using a bit of flattery to get what she wants, a trait she seems to have inherited from the men and women in her family, and a trait she shares (among others) with her elder brother Blaise and cousin Bentley. Stubborn as she can be, Julie has no difficulty asking for help or seeking other opinions to better herself or learn, in fact, Julie being the curious and extroverted girl that she is finds it much easier to learn from other people or through example than on her own. She might be a little (fairly) power hungry, and attention hungry but in a nutshell, Julie Bellaire is good-natured, charming, stubborn, materialistic, insecure, gregarious, amiable and normal teen girl.
