He instead shook his head sadly. "I pity Archer so much. He's been trapped by you when he should be out there enjoying the company of worthy ladies.'' Cue a dramatic sigh before a hearty and amused laugh escaped him. "Please,'' Connor began and mimicking Gabby's word choice from her earlier comment. "Addison has a lot of common sense to see my worth. Why would she leave when I'm quite the catch.'' Did Gabby not see him? He was a darn handsome fellow.

Not that he'd want her looking at him that way.

G-R-O-S-S.

Gabby Burton... just gross.
... If Connor wanted to be cagey, so be it. Gabby shrugged right back at him. He'd obviously found out either from his wife or from records. "I'm flattered to see that you have quite the interest in me, but it's a bit weird." She was aware of the effect that she had on men, but this one was beyond gross and she despised him. The quicker that he left her alone, the better... forgetting the fact that she was the one to sit beside him. WHATEVER.

Now it was time for Gabby to grin. "Oh, but he had been for a LONG time. Until he met me. I got him to give up the single life." Not to say that Archer had been a saint or anything; more that his relationships before her tended to last about a fortnight. "I have seen better looking things than you on the bottom of my shoes." Just saying.
