Joy took her eyes off the Fat Friar as she noticed a girl her own age greeting her. "Hi Maddie!" She said with a bright smile, her brown eyes twinkling warmly. "I'm Joy Williams. It's wonderful to meet you. Oh, I'm so happy to be in Hufflepuff. My mother was a Hufflepuff too!! But my Dad was a Gryffindor, and my older brother and sister were in Ravenclaw." She smiled again. "Yes, I really do need to meet the prefects. I haven't met much of anybody... except you!" Maybe this girl would be a new friend. She hoped so. Everyone at this table seems so nice, Joy thought as she straightened her robes.
