He instead shook his head sadly. "I pity Archer so much. He's been trapped by you when he should be out there enjoying the company of worthy ladies.'' Cue a dramatic sigh before a hearty and amused laugh escaped him. "Please,'' Connor began and mimicking Gabby's word choice from her earlier comment. "Addison has a lot of common sense to see my worth. Why would she leave when I'm quite the catch.'' Did Gabby not see him? He was a darn handsome fellow.
Not that he'd want her looking at him that way.
