Having already combed his fingers through his hair five times, straightened his tie twice and fiddled with his dress robes to make sure they were sitting properly seven times, Remy was happy for the company when a newly sorted first year sat next to him. After all, his friends had other friends to catch up with too. He'd see them all in the common room later if he didn't manage to catch them over the feast.

"S'nice to meet you, Caroline." He answered with an easy smile on his face, head tilted down towards her due to his still increasing height. "I'm Remy." He gave her another smile and motioned around the hall. "Do you have any family here? Someone to show you around?" Because it was a big school, especially as a first year... but he'd been lucky.
