Her feelings about fifth year were smothering her, in addition to her "boy troubles", HA, and all before she'd even reached the castle. Having to struggle through her studies for another year wasn't something that appealed to her. Ugh.
So after leaving her luggage in the luggage compartment, she made her way down the train looking for empty compartments. It wasn't long before she found one and slipped inside, closing the door behind her. Rhea sat down, brought her knees up to her chest and looked out the window, settling in for the long journey to Hogwarts.
Going back to Hogwarts was proving bittersweet.
Felicity had said an emotional goodbye to her fathers on the platform, after a strained, but emotional nonetheless, goodbye to her mother and stepfather earlier that morning. After loading her trunk, she wondered whether or not she'd be able to find someone she knew, but internally shook her head. No doubt Junia and Sky would be busy seeing their boyfriends, and Vivian would be in the Prefects compartment. She was proud of the Snake, as she would have been for either of the others. Anyway, she'd see the girls later at the feast, and they'd no doubt be up half of the night catching up.
Instead, she pushed open the door to a compartment occupied by one person. A girl who Felicity recognised as being in her year, although that was the extent of her knowledge. "Can I join you?" The American drawl was ever present as the fifth year forced herself to smile: she needed to make more friends this year, 'cause there wasn't going to be any Ilvy students to fall back on.
