Shaking her head at the Slytherin's pleading, she smiled coyly. "Please, Vivi, you're the most V.I.P. that any V.I.P could be. Very important prefect. Now come on. My mum told me the prefect's compartment is located in the very front of the train." Because of course she'd have told Savannah about the news of her roommate, who no doubt told Noah, maybe. Who probably told Noelle. All that wasn't important, but rather what was, was the prefecty advice that her mum had told her to pass on to Vivian. "Now do you want to make your appearance or not? Because we still got a few compartments yet to pass." And people loitering in the corridors was not helping things; honestly, how hard was it to just pick a compartment?

She'd miss him. The summer had flown by so quickly and she had enjoyed spending most of it with him.
As soon as she had stepped on the train, she knew that this year was going to be awesome. Shorter hair, slightly taller (like an inch... okay half an inch so now she was barely 5'4), a new locket necklace from her grandmother, and the new tattoo on her wrist made her feel incredibly confident. And the fact that she was sixteen helped too. Sixteen and proud. And also the fact that she'd see a lot of her friends and a very special person indeed. She'd have to stop by and see him, Etta, Noelle, Kitty, and Henry. They'd probably all be in the Prefect Compartment. She'd also have to find Vivian and Mel.... Where was Mel? Probably with Kirk, she mused.
VIP Coming Through? What was a very important person doing on the train? She wondered. Olivia had just caught that phrase and saw two familiar faces barging towards her. Skylar and Vivian. Merlin. Skylar definitely looked like a girl on a mission whereas Vivian looked as if she wanted to hide. What was going on? she wondered, watching the whole scene with an amused smile. Shenanigans surely. She was about to smile but then decided that she would move an empty section and out of the way. Ah better. Now she wouldn't get run over by the two Snakes on a mission. "Hey Vivi! Skylar!" she called, offering them a smile and a salute cause they looked like they were in a hurry to go wherever they needed to go. "Good luck on your mission." She didn't want to get in there way but made a note to catch up with those two later.
In the meantime, Vi settled into her seat and pulled out her songwriting journal. And of course, the pen that was inside the journal fell underneath her chair. She groaned and then got to her knees, searching for the pen. Merlin. Barely on the train and she already was losing her things.
Gosh, Skylar Diggory. What did Vivian do to deserve all this flattery? Perhaps this was all payback for all that teasing with Brent from the previous term, when the dormie and the older Slytherin started dating. Was it that? Because Vivi felt as if all her teasing was crashing down on her, thanks to this prefect badge which she had pinned onto her shirt. Her mum wouldn't allow her to hide it, and said she should show it with pride. Yes, she was glad she got the badge but... yeah, people like Sky happened.
But of course, that 'very important prefect' title made her laugh a little. Just a little. It was so amusing, okay? There were many things to be thankful for, and one of those would be having a
loud and crazy bestie like Sky. "
Yeah, my auntie told me it'd be one of the front cars," she said. Auntie Elise had been the Quidditch captain during her Hogwarts years, so the younger Fairfield was absolutely thrilled to know she'd somehow be following her footsteps. Appearance, though? The blonde blinked at her bestie. "
Appearance? Do I look bad?" She immediately placed a hand on her face, and another hand on her head. She didn't have a bug on her face, did she?!
With wide bewildered eyes, Vivian looked to her side and saw Olivia. Oh, phew! The blonde smiled towards the Gryffindor and lifted her hand off her face to wave at her. "
Hey!" Because they were friends and obviously sweets shopping buddies. That was a totally different level of friendship for the fifth year. And... MISSION?! Vivi looked back at Sky, and then turned pink again. "
Uh... it was... nothing. Mission? What mission?" PSSSSH, no such thing!
Cue the innocent Fairfield smile.
