This golden-toned wood is best suited for warmhearted and friendly individuals - you will not see it matched with any witch or wizard inclined to practising dark magic, nor will it easily produce harmful magics. In exchange for this wood's reluctance to do harm however, charms, transfiguration spells, and protective spells seem to have a boost of sorts. A Pearwood wand feels eager to please and be all things a helpful wand could possibly be. The Pearwood wand is associated with wisdom, likeability and compassion. Those who are interested in healing or divination may find this wand to be an ideal tool.

CORE: Phoenix Feather (Big 3 Group)
The phoenix is a sacred creature born of earth and fire. Perhaps one of the most ancient of firebirds, the phoenix is also one of the most magical creatures, also thought to possess healing powers through its tears. The tail feather of a phoenix would be a wise choice for one who wishes to cast protection spells or lasting charms. It would make an excellent companion to woods that draw from the element of fire and water.

Phoenix tail feather is a popular wand core due to its versatility and power. Its main strength lies in Defense Against the Dark Arts, although its adaptability can wrench it to hexes and jinxes if need be. As with the dragon heartstring core, the phoenix core is common amongst Light Wizards, but its users are not necessarily Light Wizards. She also has twenty-one thousand questions for you, you, and YOU.

History:
It was a dark and stormy day... Psh. I'm only kidding. Well, it might have been a dark and stormy day, but who knows or cares? It was June 17, 2082, when Maddie came into the world, mouth wide open and probably screaming for a hug or some food. Or both. She was PERFECT, and her parents loved her right away. Well, just kidding about that, too. I mean, it could have very well happened, but who knows? Her parents did love her right away, though, as any parents should and hopefully do. They raised her in a loving and very caring environment.

Maddie attended Wizarding Primary School as a very young child. When she was four years old, she helped welcome a little brother, and when she was six years old, she helped welcome a little sister. Life proceeded as normal with toys, rainbows, pastries, and cuddly animals being the main focus of things. Maddie likes to consider herself all grown up now that she's attending "the big kid's school," but who is she kidding? She doesn't even know what it means to be grown up or even what it means to be fifteen or sixteen.

This brings us to September 1, 2093, when eleven-year-old Maddie was all packed up and ready to take Hogwarts by storm! She's always ready for Hogwarts, but Merlin only knows if that castle is ever ready for her. There is not enough Calming Draught in the world to tame this wild thang.
