And he didn't mean the curse breaking stuff, he knew that. The normal Arithmancy is what he had issues with. He was pretty sure his NEWT score would reflect that.

The boy took the headscarves and the water bottles from his father and followed him towards the camels. He watched as the older man looked at the camels, he knew what he was doing and he trusted his judgment completely. His Dad worked with dragons after all, surely he would be able to tell which Camel would suit him.

Aramis nodded as his father instructed him what to do, and he had nonverbally cast a feather light charm on himself before his father had stopped speaking. The language switch made him listen closer though and he smiled and gave the man a wink.. "On it. " He said as he scrambled up onto the camel and took the reins.. this would be fun. He grinned as he looked down at his father as he took a drink of water and nodded.

The boy wrapped the scarf around his neck and nodded.

"Let's race Dad!" He said as he started to turn the camel toward the Pyramid.
Albert raised a brow as he slowly turned to his son who was now atop the camel. Perhaps they should've brought Antheia along. Considering that she's an heiress to one of the best wineries in Italy, she would've done exceptionally well with numbers. "I'm afraid you did get that from me." Albert struggled with maths, but he did manage to get a good grade. His self-discipline was impeccable. "We'll work it out, just in case." Albert nodded confidently as he got one of the headscarves and tied it around his head. It was bad news for his receding hairline, but he didn't want his head roasted under the Egyptian sun.

The wink didn't go unnoticed, and the man simply chuckled. He was chuffed to bits, of course. He taught his son well. Albert wouldn't even be surprised if Aramis has a string of girlfriends with that swagger.

He knew Aramis wouldn't say no to a race. He didn't even consider his 58 year old body! But then again, Albert was a capable man. At this point where they were only allowed one camel per team, and that only one person can ride the camel at a time, he had to turn towards his other resources. "Let's see then who is faster. Your camel...or me." With a sly grin, Albert transformed himself into his animagus form in the blink of an eye. A handsome looking Alaskan Malamute was now in all fours and took off after his son.

Nice and easy now...
