She dismissed that thought. That was a thought for later not at this present moment. Sure, she was seen with Etta, Ace, and Noelle but still she wasn't used to people knowing her. The foyer around her seem to get brighter when she NAILED this girl's name. So it was Rachel. AhA! She could have done a victory dance or something. "Perfect! I knew it! Sweet," she said with a quick fist pump to the air above her head. And then Rachel had asked her why she was here. "Yes, money for school supplies and candy. I'm off to Sugarplums to pick up some sweets for my brother and I. It's kind of a form of payment to him for letting me stay at his apartment for the whole summer."
Speaking of summer and all, Olivia found herself wondering a question. "Are you having a good summer?"
Rachel smiled. It was obvious that Olivia was genuinely interested in the topic. "I've been there a last year. It was quite exciting though there were lots of mosquitoes and other insects. It is said that thousands of new species of insects are discovered annually in the Forest.'' She could not resist stating this little fact. "Aside from that, it's very beautiful. The greenery makes it so.''
The girl giggled. "I like Owlie so I think I'm going to call you this from now on.'' Then she was giggling again. "I don't think you'll be unsure of my name again. How is it that we never got to know each other before?'' Rachel felt a twang of regret. Olivia was rather nice. "Your brother has a sweet tooth? In that case sweets would be perfect for him unless you look at it as though you're bribing him.'' That was merely a lame attempt of a joke.
"Oh yes, I am. It wasn't as eventful as the others but the change has been wonderful. How about you, Owlie? Have you been enjoying yourself?''
