He wasn't sure if she'd go easy on her younger brother, though.
The man had to restrain himself from mildly slapping the boy's arm. Aramis was not aware of his power to make Albert dissolve into laughter. He, however, did not want to misconstrue the action as something negative or displeasing, considering that he wasn't the showy, touchy and affectionate father. He will not risk it, especially when they were supposed to have fun. Therefore, Albert kept his hands to himself and kept the knowing grin on his face.
The jiggling though. Albert will have to return the favour. Soon.
As soon as the tips of his thumb and index finger made contact with their portkey, the hooking sensation was felt, and soon enough, the both of them were transported to a place that was too warm for Europeans like them; 27-30°C at the very least. Albert squinted his eyes, as he whipped out his Rayban's from his pocket, and unzipped his jacket. The toilet seat that he'd been holding was immediately placed around Aramis' neck. Lesson learned, he supposed? Giving his son a winning grin, Albert moved on to clean his hands. "We could've gone way down south Giza, though. Visit my old pre-university school." Albert spent his gap year in the Serengeti Institute to learn more about advanced Transfiguration. All thanks to those folks, he'd been more adept in the field. "Any ideas on what our mission here will be?" he asked turning his attention back to Aramis. "Mummies?...Decipher a bunch of Runes?" And that's what he got for teasing his father. A toliet seat around his neck.
Giving his Dad a bit of a glare the teen pulled the seat off of his head, and dropped it on the ground. He used his wand to aim a few cleaning spells on his hands, neck and face before putting it back in his wrist holster and looking around. "No idea what it could be. " The boy said as he saw their host arrive and he wiped at his neck and squinted a bit in the sun as Antonio explained what they were going to do..
Go to a pyramid, get a thing, solve a riddle.. sounded easy enough but he knew the pyramids had tons of curses on them.. so this wouldn't be easy at all. Good thing he has paid attention in Professor Hirch's classes! "Seems like break curses might be more accurate. " He said as he looked over at his Father. Now how were they going to get there? He didn't exactly feel like walking for two kilometers, but it didn't seem like he had much choice.. where was his broom when he needed it? |
