For obvious reasons, something was amiss, but Albert was confident enough that it wasn't much of a big deal. What was important was he was there to make his wife, and hopefully, his son, to be happy.

The man remained in his bar stool as he followed his son with his eyes. He did so not because he was trying to help look for their portkey, but because he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Aramis, all grown up. Albert could swear that it was just yesterday where he and his family were in Italy having lunch together in a quaint restaurant, Aramis aged five, wrecking havoc in the kitchen. The boy had been scared to death when he found him with the employees of the restaurant, all of them looking like they were about to set the boy on fire. Blood and anger rose to his cheeks, not because of Aramis' mischief, but because one of the chefs laid a hand on his son. Muggles may not know the wrath of a dragon, but they were able to witness one in the form of Albert Morgenstern.

A weak grin appeared on Albert's face as the memory slowly faded back into his mind, bringing him to his present. Aramis had been a wonderful child, and it was too bad he had him much later in his life. Albert was sure Aramis would've loved it if they had spent more time together in a more active environment, wherein playtime meant everything to him.

Perhaps, the Race would cover up for the lost time. Perhaps, that was the reason why Albert said yes to this shenanigan. Like any parent, he didn't want to have any regrets whatsoever, even if his joints were starting to ache in a more profound way. Albert stretched out his leg, to make his knee pop out air and turned his head towards a soiled looking wall, camouflaging their portkey. "I don't think a toilet seat, out in the open, counts as ordinary." Albert eyed the object, and waited for Aramis to get it for them. Merlin, it wasn't what the man hoped for...but he'd rather have that than to see a mangled umbrella lying around.
Aramis pushed up out of his crouch and looked around to where his Dad had indicated, ahh. No, no indeed. A toliet seat out in the open was not ordinary at all. He moved towards the portkey and with only a moments hesitation grabbed it and headed back over to his father.

He held the object out, a slight grin on his face as he looked at his Dad. One because watching him touch a toilet seat would be amusing, another because this was going to signal the start of their adventures together. Had the older Morgenstern ever been to Egypt? He wasn't sure, but they were going together.

Aramis had always looked up to his Father, he knew the man loved him, that had never been in doubt, even if he showed it in odd ways at times. But the recent graduate had an insatiable desire to make his dad.. Proud.

His dad had accomplished so much, so far and Aramis felt like he needed to live up to the family name. To make his Father.. proud of him. Hence his choice in University. And Major, he was going to be a Dragonologist and take over the family business. He was!

Though now he just had to tell his Dad..

Merlin..

"You ready Dad?" Aramis asked as he waited for him to touch the toilet seat.
