Gabby hated to admit it, but she was kind of disappointed in that because it denied her a chance of annoying him further. Of course that was probably Connor's plan. Stupid Connor. Even when he was doing nothing he somehow managed to get on her nerves.
Sandwich and coffee in hand, she made her way back over to the booth and couldn't resist smirking in Connor's direction as she went. Was it going to be her turn to drive him crazy soon? She thought YES.
Absently almost, Con turned his attention toward the crowd getting their food. Of course his eyes H-A-D to notice Gabby first... just in time to catch her smirk too. Oooh, finally she was showing interest. As much as he wanted to say something snarky, the man resisted.
For now.
He'd just play it cool. So Connor simply blinked in her direction. There was a 'Are you smirking at me?' look on his face and he purposely glanced around himself to 'see' if she was smirking at someone else. And all this time he was willing her to come in his direction.
