As for the paintball war, not even gonna lie, she was excited to know someone else thought it was a good idea. "Maybe out in the courtyard, or the forest by the Groundskeeper's hut for extra cover!" They would have to get the Groundskeeper's permission for either location but wouldn't he be happy to know the students were out and about being active??? Also, "Really???? Did you??? What Professor had that been?? What was the lesson??" It must have been spectacular. Jessa hated History of Magic for how theoretical it tended to be but any topic that allowed for a paintball war would definitely have been welcomed.
The more Henry explained the controls was the more she felt like this wouldn't be so hard. Motion controlled? Move it in the direction she wanted? She could do that!! "What will I do with the special items after I've collected them?" And what sort of items were there? Gosh there were just so many questions. "I want a super fast car." Naturally. "Which ones would you recommend?" He had this game at home, that meant he probably knew ALL the best ones. Not for a second did she think he might be a little reluctant given she was his competition. It just wasn't the way her brain worked. Oh, it definitely was a lot of fun and Henry nodded his agreement as he watched Jessa check out the controller. "Yeah, it's one of my favorites. Or it used to be when I was younger. I haven't played it in a little while." But he was sure it was something that he'd pick up quickly again. It wasn't too difficult of a game.
Now that he was thinking about paintball, Henry was really excited about it. Not that it would likely happen any time soon with it getting colder outside, but he would definitely store that in his mind to pull it out as soon as possible. Why hadn't he thought of it sooner? "Yeah," he grinned. "Either of those places would be good. And I bet Mr. B wouldn't mind.. Maybe he'd even join in." Sure, he was an older guy, but anyone that was into flying and Quidditch like he was had to enjoy that kind of active fun.
He had to think a moment about which professor it had been since it was a while ago. "I want to say it was in my second year? And I'm sure it was Professor Finch." He had a few History of Magic teachers while he was at Hogwarts, but some lessons stood out more than others. "Umm... I think we were studying some battle? Then we went out on the grounds and had our paintball game." He always retained the practical stuff much better than the theoretical stuff. But that was really fun. "Okay, well, it depends on what items you get. Some are good for you, while others are bad for your opponent." And that was him and the computer. A super fast car. Henry nodded. "Well, pick your character first." He advanced to that screen and chose the turtle for himself. "Some of the cars are faster while going straight, but the bikes are best for handling turns. It's just a matter of preference, but I can show you which ones I like best." There was a whole strategy to them really, if one wanted to deconstruct it that specifically. But that probably wasn't necessary for a first game.
