Before he actually made a selection though, he turned as he heard a voice. "Oh, hi," he smiled, recognizing the girl from around the castle, but not really sure of her name as she was at least a couple years younger and not in his house. "Yeah, there's a few in here, I think. A racing one, and.." He dug through the box some more. "This looks like a paintball war," he chuckled as he pulled that one out as well. "Any of those look good to you?" Because he was definitely up for a two player game! It was a lot more fun that way. "Yeah," he admitted with a nod. "I don't mind the rain sometimes, but I just wasn't feeling it today." Maybe it was mixed with the cold, but it was just dreary. "It's okay though. I kind of forgot this place existed." Jessa wasn't terribly talented with video games. There wasn't one at her father's and the one at her mum's belonged to her step-sister who'd never let her even breathe too close to the controllers. Of course she wasn't entirely clueless, as Kalie would sometimes allow her to stand by the doorway and watch if she was quiet enough. In all that time, she'd seen a few games being played and had some idea of the ones she felt she might have liked. "The racing one!" Yes, that one. "But maybe we can have a real paintball war sometime. D'you think the Professors would let us? We could have it out on the grounds." With autumn coming into full swing they'd have to wait a while for the grounds to warm up again but it'd be worth it. 'Sides, when the snow started falling it'd be darn near impossible to camouflage. "I think the rain's nice but it does make the Common Room a lot more crowded than I'm used to." Even most Ravenclaws could be seen outside their Common Room on a fair day making the rainy day influx quite noticeable.
Jessa took a seat on one of the plushy bean bags that sat before the television, belatedly turning to face the older boy again. "Do you know how to play it? And to make it work?" She was all for pushing buttons until something happened but couldn't help thinking it'd go a lot faster and they could get to playing sooner if he did.
