End of term. It had never been sad before, but Katy hadn't particularly cared that people were leaving before. And now she had her people leaving, some of the ones she liked the best. Not that she was permitting herself to be sad, but if she WAS, then she'd have ever reason to be.
But she wasn't.
Katy slipped into a seat near the middle of the bench and plunked her elbows onto the table. No food yet, but she wasn't above filling her glass with water and sipping it with a certain air of royal nonchalance. She sipped and watched her housemates. They all looked a bit sad. Maybe it wasn't just her.
