Kane was ready to get OUT of here. The year had been pretty good, for the most part - no monsters, so that was an obvious win - but the recent drama between Saff and Isa had been draining. Kane missed the days when he WASN'T involved in girl drama. He never thought he'd actually THINK that, and yet here he was. You didn't realize how NOT cool it actually was until it happened to you.
Brent had been an IMPS champion, though, and that had been pretty cool! It sucked that he hadn't won, though. Although he didn't really NEED the money, their family could more than afford to send him (and the rest of the Westwood kids) to college. Kane would have preferred the glory rather than the scholarship to be completely honest.
Huh, first one here? That was a first. Kane plopped down in his usual seat and began to look around. Ummm, any time now with the food, house elves....
