Gaston entered the Great Hall, feeling happier than he'd been in many months. The dark shadows under his eyes were gone, and his normally black attire was accented with red and gold in honor of the occasion. The outfit was a little too loud for his taste, but he wanted to do something to support his Lions. He couldn't be prouder of them!
He felt a little less self-conscious when he saw he wasn't the only one wearing red.
"Good evening, Headmistress Hawthorne," he greeted the woman seated at the middle of the table with a polite nod and slight smile. And another smile for the librarian.
"Hello, Kalen."
As he took his assigned seat, Gaston allowed his mind to wander to the exciting plans he had for the summer. As much as he adored his students, he was ready for a break. No teen angst, no disapproval, just two months of fun and relaxation with the people who meant the most to him!
