He had been on a few of these dates already and all had been amazing so this was going to be just the same. He couldn't wait to figure out what they were doing.
As they landed he looked around at the carriage and then at the rest of the area. Where were they? The hoot of the owl brought him back to the carriage and he let go of the portkey to take the rose and the letter. "A rose for you." Smiling at Morgan before opening the familiar letter:
Wow, this was again another great date. He lifted his hand to help her into the carriage. "I guess we should get started, your carriage awaits madam." He couldn't help but have a hint of a grin to get to say those words as he helped her into the carriage and settled next to her. The seats were very comfortable and how convenient a blanket if they get chilly on their ride. The fact that her, albeit rather facetious, question hadn’t exactly been answered had not slipped past Morgan’s notice. Nor did the rather successful sidestep Allen had made by bringing the owl and his cargo to her attention, however. It nearly excused the other, and she had smiled back at him as he offered her the rose. “How lovely,” she commented, idly twirling the stem between her fingers as she listened to the message that the owl had delivered. The trip had certainly not been any rougher than any portkey trip ever was, but she gave points to whomever it was that wrote the messages for their concern. Plus, there was the fact that whatever nerves she had felt before the date had essentially disappeared now that they’d arrived. There wasn’t any turning back now.
“Have you ever been here before?,” she asked conversationally as she took his offered hand to step up into the carriage, settling down easily and arranging her skirt so as not to risk any mishaps as he’d settled in next to her, not needing the blanket quite yet. She’d thought she’d done a lot of travel with her work, yet she couldn’t recall being to Kraków ever before. It only made her that much more intrigued as to what they were going to find while they were there. Especially as she wasn’t there for business this time around, she felt she was allowed to enjoy herself.
