Emmeline marched out to the nursery right after making the pretty tree cry in herbology. Her feelings about the lesson, and the summer and her first hear at Hogwarts being almost over were messy and complicated. So she was taking a trip to see Sirius for like five minutes before she was due back in the castle for her next lesson. The first year rushed inside the nursery and opened up the right kennel. Sirius came bounding out and tried to bowl her over as usual. She plopped down on the ground and wrapped her arms around the cruppy in a biiig hug.
