The second he saw that his combination of spells had worked to subdue the creature, Kyle felt relief flood through him. He staggered back, leaning against the door frame and using it to prop up his exhausted self.
He should have expected it by now, but Kyle gave a jolt of surprise when someone suddenly appeared right in front of him. For a split second, his heart raced, and he knew he didn't have the energy to fight anything else, or solve another riddle. But... "Oh... right..." Kyle murmured, more to himself than anything, when he realised that the individual in question was from the Ministry, and here for the sake of the Runespoor. Right. Yes. Good job he never tried to blow the thing up, then. He'd come very close to trying.
The heat of the forest was bearing down on Kyle again, his whole body ached, and he was somehow completely parched despite frequently making the effort to rehydrate himself. Not to mention, the pain in his arm demanded his attention even more, now that the danger had passed, and every move he made exacerbated it.
Kyle had no desire to stay here any longer. The second the door opened, he slipped through it without even waiting for it to open all the way, and reappeared back at the stands.
