The wand still clinched in her teeth, she glanced at her wifey who was looking elsewhere. She followed her gaze to Daisy. Oh man, she must be in a fit of emotions with Levi still out there. And there was Althea. Supporting her brother. Noelle called out a hello to both, managing to separate her teeth from the licorice wand. She held her other hand out with the packaged licorice wands if they wanted any. But knowing Althea, she probably had some healthy snacks stashed away.
Noelle's eyes were making their way back to the screen when she noticed Mel's boyfriend was the one actually commentating. She waved over at Mel. She must be giddy!
Okay. now really back to the screen.
Noelle took a piece of Ava's pretzel and stuffed it in her mouth. Come on Levi. Come on Brent. Even.. come on the other two.... Those Runespoor... Merlin. Knowing how these competitions were going... she was expecting something... but not them. She figured that dangerous creature was real because others in the competition had been real. Where did they even get a creature like that?? Noelle's mind flitted to Miss Emm for a moment and her Dark Magic craze.... These creatures were linked with Dark Magic. Seemed a lot of these competitions were linked with that. Hmm.
Stop it.
Noelle looked at Ava. "They should go for it's right head. The critic. And then the left. The planner. That would leave the middle and they would have a better chance of defeating it. But... the right's teeth are highly venomous.... you don't actually think that ... well... you know....." They'd have taken the venom out... right????

Everyone else was a blur and, though she was mildly aware that the stands were more popular than they had been during the recent challenges, none of it registered with her. If anyone brought it up, she would argue she had an excuse. The previous challenges hadn’t exactly been characterised by lack of danger and general boredness.
And though this one had started slowly enough, it was slowly catching up with its predecessors.
He had faced a Dementor and survived, as he was so fond of remembering her. Only he usually said that in the relative safety of the castle (it was still Hogwarts, after all), not in the middle of an African forest while being attacked by a three headed snake. The hands around the golden pendant were so tight they turned as white as a sheet and, unable to keep her eyes on the screen as the heads seemingly argued amongst themselves, Daisy looked around the stands, completely disinterested in the other competitors. Althea was there, surprisingly enough, with that Hufflepuff guy Levi was friends with and she watched them quizzically for a second or two; Althea and Levi’s friends had a… well. Amusing. But not nearly interesting enough.
Noelle and her always present stash of licorice wands, however, were pretty interesting. A loud bang and a hiss was heard from the screens and even if Daisy didn’t check to see if it had come from Levi’s, as she walked towards the two Gryffindor girls, she reminded herself of his promise; if there was one thing Levi Kenning was exceptional at was doing his best to uphold his promises. “Let’s hope he remembers all of that.” Having reached Noelle and Ava just in time to hear the Prefect’s words on the Runespoor, Daisy sat down next to her and shrugged stiffly. “And I bet they’re still venomous. They made them face Dementors, remember?” She smiled, rather ruefully, at both Gryffindor girls before turning back to the screen. “Seems like they’re meant to risk a whole lot in order to get a scholarship.” She saw Melbourne who's smiling at them, but then then younger Gryffindor decided to sit with the commentator who was also her boyfriend. And then her eyes paid more attention to the screen, watching Levi struggling with the rune decoding and... runespoor? Merlin, why on earth the staffs or whoever organized this competition had to use a dangerous creature? Although, she forgot if runespoor was under XXXXX classification or not but still... Only capable wizards could handle that creature, right? Oh, and hi Daisy! The Gryffindor was glad that she decided to join them. "Well... I hope he won't get bite." Ava had a big hope that he would find a way to face it because Levi Kenning was a smart wizard.
See? He succeed jelly-brain jinx and daydream charm which, she knew, that was sooo difficult to master those.
And as the Slytherin's girl mentioned about risking too much for a scholarship... Well, Ava hated to admit that but she agreed with that. "Yeah... But I hope they will reward them more than just a scholarship." Like... Scholarship + Lots and lots of galleons + Unconditional acceptance to the University that they wanted to.. or something like that? Seriously, those competitors faced way too much danger than an average 15-17 year-old students.
And transfiguring a rock to a dog seemed like a good idea. SPOILER!!: Louise and Zoryn Quote:

SHE WAS HERE FIRST!!! Evan grinned "Thanks.. I'll join on the back." The Ilvermorny guy said and approached the seat behind her Louise. "Hey, Irene!" He greeted the other girl too. Normally, he would watch this competition with her fellow Horned Serpents like Deo, Layla, Meagan, Maesi, or Manuela... But today, he hadn't seen any of them. Huh? One of their pal was down there fighting for glory, even though he wasn't really that closed with Kyle Baker.
But wait... There's a little person who minded him joining with his fellow Ilvermornian. Turns out, she was a Hogwarts student... who was a commentator last round, right? "I'm asking my friends, not you." The Korean-American said coolly. It's not that he's going to bother her at all. Ignoring the Hogwarts girl, Evan enjoyed his sriracha hot dog while his eyes paid attention to Kyle.
He wondered what would happen if one of those competitors didn't take ancient runes... Merlin, that would be a disaster!
