Hiss!Roar!Growl!Caw! | Hermione's Double | The Little Three | Alecate
About two seconds passed before Brent realized this was not going as he planned. He really was going to die right out here in the forest, wasn't he? He had almost convinced himself that those were no longer irrational thoughts, but a real possibility for him. At least he'd gotten the right head to divert its attention to the other two heads, but the head on the left seemed to no longer be confused, and the head in the middle definitely didn't seem like it was still interested in being a flower. This was all before he attempted to subdue them all, though. "WHOA, WHOA, WHOAAA!" he exclaimed, as realization dawned on him that pretty much nothing was working anymore. ALL THREE HEADS were staring him down. Something had gone terribly wrong, although he had no idea what that might be. When the creature lunged at him, a thought from the second challenge came back to him. "LORICATUS!" he called out, pointing his wand at himself. Temporary armor might not have done him much good in the second challenge, but he was pretty sure of it's usefulness right now. Brent took a step back and eyed the line of runes out of the corner of his eye. It had to be the runes. OF COURSE it was the runes. With most of his eyesight on the runespoor and a bit of attention on the runes, Brent began to review what he'd etched into the dirt. Wait a second...was there a small space there toward the end? Were there two words instead of one? ... ... "FOR THEE! FOR THEE!" he suddenly exclaimed. "Subdue the beast in nature to make it open for thee!"
Please let that be it! Oh, PLEASE let that be it!
With a burst of confidence fueled from the fact that he thought he was now on the right track, Brent turned toward the snake once again. "Verdimillious Tria!" he exclaimed, making a forward slash toward the head on the right. Without missing a beat, he then cast on the head in the middle. "Verdimillious Tria!" Then finally, he made a forward slash toward the head on the left. "Verdimillious Tria!" Again, he focused on subduing the beast with all his might. He might fear death out here, but deep down inside, he would not make it a reality.
If this didn't work, he was fresh out of ideas and was pretty sure he was one long gone Slytherin.
