| Kimothée Chalamet • The UWU Agenda • Once Baby, Now Trouble • All Growed Up Dana sort of sat down while waiting for her turn to commentate. It was actually such a relief that she wasn't going to be drying her mouth up by doing this alone. She didn't exactly know Kirk, but she'd rather have someone to commentate with as of the moment. But in all honesty, doing commentary wasn't exactly Dana's thing. It was waaay out of her comfort zone. Text Cut: Sam! <3 Quote:

In Sam's hand was a Moly plant. The black stem and white flowers were beautiful but that wasn't why Sam bought it. It was a protective flower. Wards off dark magic. Dana had told Sam that she would be commentating so he figured he'd bring it. This was Hogwarts and he was told a lot of horrible things. Plus, he wasn't brave in any way... so the best thing to do was give her something that would help her. Plus, the little flower in his hand did give him enough confidence to walk (with his head down and eyes downcast) through the crowd until he sat down beside Dana. Was he allowed over here? NO idea. But he wasn't about to leave.
The confidence it took for him to get over here vanished the moment he sat down. So if any professor or person told him he couldn't sit where they were commentating.... they'd have to pick him up and take him elsewhere. Sorry.
Blushing, he tapped Dana's shoulder lightly and then put on ear muffs. No it wasn't cold outside. Then he cast a bubble head charm on himself so that the loud voices were somewhat muffled. There was usually a method to his madness.
Kind of disrupting her train of thought, Dana blinked and flinched a little when she felt a small tap on her shoulder. A little confused, the sixth year turned around to see who had done it, which made her smile. "Hi," she said. Dana would have went for a kiss, which she usually did at this stage of whatever their relationship was, but instead she turned slightly red. There were a lot of people around, and she was commentating, to add to the list. "Thank you... for coming." And yeah, she had told Sam that she would be commentating. Her nerves weren't able to handle the situation at first, but she was glad Sam was here. She didn't really expect his presence, but she just... really really really liked him. His presence was greatly appreciated right now.
And she totally didn't mind him sitting beside her. Dana would pretty much hold his hand while commentating, which worked well to calm her nerves, but then she immediately realized it was her turn to speak. MEEP. "Err... sorry. Give me a minute?" Dana told Sam, still pink on her cheeks, and then turned back to see the progress of each competitors. Oh, and she noticed the treats for the other girl. Kirk's... friend? Girlfriend, perhaps?
Anyway, back to business. "Brent Westwood's definitely got this under control. All that decoding would have caused me a headache." Dana squinted to see what was going on down there at Brent's place. "But it looks like he's successfully decoded it! And his wand's at the ready because... RUNESPOOR?!?!" Dana's jaw dropped at the sight of the creature. Really? They were allowing dangerous creatures to attack students in this competition?! The blonde froze a bit and shuddered, before moving on to the next competitor. Somebody better have a careful eye at Brent and that Runespoor! "Valerie Gray has also finished decoding her message, definitely catching up to the other competitors, and there's also a RUNESPOOR. Though... uh... she's gonna need help down there." Was she going to faint? She was in a forest, for the love of art. Someone get her water, please! Dana wasn't going to allow a Runespoor to attack her fellow Ilvermorny student. Hoping to avoid whatever happens next, her blue eyes shifted to the other Hogwarts' representative. "Levi Kenning finished decoding his, too... but I guess, by now, we all know what's coming for him." Good luck, Levi. Though, since he'd survived the previous three challenges without being eliminated, he surely knew how to handle all that. "And Kyle Baker's now facing off with his Runespoor! Keep your eyes on the screen, everyone!" Phew! A glass of water would be good right now. Dana nodded at Kirk for his turn, then looked to her side at Sam.
Hi again, favorite guy. The seventeen year old smiled at him. "C-can I hold y-your h-hand? Please?" Dana asked, sounding more like a croak. She really wasn't used to all this talking, and she rarely even spoke that much. Perhaps, she had exceeded more than what was her type of normal for a week's worth of talking today. But, y'know... she just wanted a hand to hold. In fact, her hands were still slightly shaking from the nerves but not as much as earlier, of course. This would take time.
