Another Quidditch fan!

Lucas was excited the moment he realised this. "Why did you stop playing if you don't mind me asking?'' Katrina need not answer that if she didn't want to because the reason could be a personal one. There was nothing more that he liked than the thrill of trying to evade a Keeper and being triumphant. The feeling was exhilarating. "I've seen Elise Fairfield play and I do believe I've met Clement Belrose once.'' Did she too know them?

Lucas nodded. "I never miss following a game if I can. Of course I can’t go to them all personally but I’m there when I can. My nine year old nephew enjoys them very much.’’ He was pleased that Brody was following in his footsteps regarding this. He now continued listening with increased interest. “Oh, wow! You’re rather talented! Which do you think is the position that best suits you?’’

Katrina absolutely loved being able to talk about her passion for Quidditch... but oh, that question. She always prepared herself for people who asked her about such. Quite bittersweet, yes, but the blonde managed a smile. It was a decision she had made a really long time ago, so there really was no more room for regrets. "I don't mind at all. I just didn't think playing professionally suited me back then," she shared, which was the truth. "Quidditch had always been a sport I played for fun... and only just for that." She enjoyed playing for her house, but competing against other teams on a national scale was a different story. Kat didn't feel she would have fit well in that professionally. On another note, the mention of Elise and Cle made her smile more. "It's good to know that you've seen and met my best friend and my husband." Just some trivia, of course. And being married to a professional Quidditch player was another reason she had foreseen back in her seventh year. Kat was very hands-on with her daughter and she quite enjoyed just being at the stands with a growling Cassidy to cheer for her beater daddy, thank you very much.

Ah, Kat wouldn't have missed a match for anything in the world! Except for health reasons and work, of course. "Looks like your nephew's on the right track," the former Head Girl nodded in approval. Good job! "I'd like to say my daughter's following the Quidditch-loving route as well." Which was obviously in the genes. Both Kat and Cle loved Quidditch, so it was definitely written in the stars that baby Cassie was going to be as big of a fan as her parents are.

The next part of the conversation made Kat smug a little, but she tried to contain it. Deep inside, she was filled with pride. Of coooourse, she was good. "How very kind of you. Thank you," she said with a wink. Winking was a Slytherin trait, she'd like to think. "I only played Chaser for, I guess, three matches. So, I'd say it's a tie between being a Beater and a Keeper. I love defending the hoops and punching the Quaffle away, but I also love the feeling of hitting a Bludger with my bat." She was getting so passionate about this. Hopefully Lucas didn't mind!
