It was only because Melanie was being so cheerful and sweet that raised Kay's suspicion by a fraction. But then she remembered that this was something for her students- the only ones she cared about the most (aside from an assorted few others) so she didn't think twice. "Is this really necessary?'' she protested as she was suddenly blindfolded and thus obscuring her vision. Kay did not appreciate being left in the dark... quite literally.
Going up the countless stairs proved to be somewhat difficult even with all the commendation provided by Melanie and thrice the Muggle Studies professor tripped. "Are we heading to the Ravenclaw or Gryffindor tower? Or somewhere there about?'' It was quite a long walk. Finally though, they came to a halt. "Erm, I guess I am.'' There was a hint of uncertainty in her voice in response to the question. She waited in silence for a brief moment then felt the arm through hers again.
At the push, Kay moved forwards with a few quick steps. "Can I take this off now?'' The blindfold obviously. |
