His voice was booming enough as it was. "I'm glad to see you're all excited for this lesson, in spite of the weather." The old man, in his leaned back position, hovered around the group while he spoke. Now and again he ruffled his feathers to get the rain out of them. Yes, he ruffled them. "I could have had this lesson inside, in one of the class rooms or in the Great Hall to avoid the weather." He grinned at them. "But then what's the fun in that?" Twinkle, twinkle EYE TWINKLE.

"If you can't fly properly in the rain, then you can't really fly. I for one, don't want to be controlled by the weather."

As he spoke, the rain carried on with no sign of stopping any time soon. t was quite the opposite.

"Has anyone flown in any less than favorable weather condition? How did you experience that?" He clasped his hands on his tummy well defined chest muscles hidden underneath loads of clothes. "If you haven't, what do you imagine is different? What would you have to be extra careful with?"

Please, professor. The cold never bothered Vivian, anyway. Rain or shine, the little Fairfield would not have had doubts in going to a flying class. Besides Herbology, the Slytherin loved being able to hop on a broom and she would take any opportunity to fly around. She obviously agreed 101% with everything that the groundskeeper had said. Like the weather wasn't going to stop her, and where was the fun without a little risk?

Oooooh, her tiny Gryffindor side was shining so bright today. Perks of having Edmund as her dad.

Situational questions definitely got Vivian thinking. Hmm. The blonde tilted her head as she listened to the groundskeeper talk about how the weather would affect one's flying performance. Personally, she didn't think it would affect that much... but maybe for the unexperienced ones. She had an auntie who played Quidditch professionally and, as a fan who love to watch her aunt's matches during season, good weather wasn't always guaranteed. A game was a game, and there wasn't really any reason to cancel Quidditch. Vivian raised her hand to share. "Well, first off... we wouldn't be able to see anything clearly. And if you're easily annoyed, the downpour of rain would be quite a struggle," she said, nodding when she finished. "But aside from rain, there are also times when it would be extremely hot, and heat would lead to people sweating... which would be an uncomfortable feeling for some." True story, bro.
