Kitty put away the TIME magazine she'd been reading when Professor Newton came by. "Hey Professor," she replied cheerfully. "I didn't mind waiting. It was a nice magazine."

She followed her into the office and moved to sit in one of the comfortable looking chairs. First she'd wait for an invitation.

"I was just passing by and decided to visit," she said truthfully, since she didn't really have anything in particular she wanted to talk about. "Hope I'm not in the way of anything."
