Lesson topics didn't plan themselves, did they?
The knock was what drove him back to Hogwarts and made him look up from the book itself for something other than note-taking. Picking up his wand, Hirsch gave it a flick in the direction of the office door, causing it to slowly - and dramatically - swing open.
"Come in!" OOC: HAI lovely!
You're welcome to post in the office thread now! ^^ It was probably a good thing that the door swung open, else Sam might have questioned whether in fact Hirsch had invited her in, or whether she'd just heard what she was hoping to. She tended to be awkward like that when waiting outside of a Professor's office. Though at least she knew her Head of House would in fact have a desk and chairs, and not that large pit of plastic balls Myers had one term. That had been...odd.
"Good day, Professeh," Sam greeted, nerves harshening her London accent some...although it was still nowhere near as rough as it had been on her arrival at the castle nearly five years ago. She'd grown a lot after being sorting in Ravenclaw, that was for sure. From almost illiterate to considering whether University should be something to aspire to after her NEWTs.
"I was wonderin' if yeh 'ad some time to talk careers?" Her glanced fell on the open book and parchment. "But I can come back if yeh buseh?"
