Merlin was it really the last day already? There were still so many spells she wanted to try, so many different combinations to determine the most effective means of cleaning the stables. She bet Professor Wayland would really have appreciated that. Surely he wouldn't mind if she continued through to the end of the week regardless of how many days had already gone. It would only benefit him.
Today the Ravenclaw strolled into the stables right behind her animated shovel and bucket. She'd been so pleased with how efficiently the work had been done just the day before that she figured she would continue along the same wavelength.
Like before, she got them scooping but the thing was, today she'd duplicated the shovel all of SIX times and had charmed them ALL to shovel at the same time.
It was a tiny orchestra of shoveling sounds or a dance recital with shovels perfectly in sync. Not gonna lie, it took some serious coordination and a lot of practice with pretend shovels back in her own dorm before bed but she was ridiculously proud to see her handiwork in action like that. Was there ever a more organized way of working?? Merlin's beard she could stand and watch them all day....but there was no need.
Seven shovels definitely got the job done faster. She didn't even notice when the last of the dung had been scooped. Wow, how wild was that?
Ending all charms, Jessa headed to the front to sign her name before turning to gaze at her work once more. This may have been the cleanest she'd gotten it to be honest.
