He might still be riding around trying to find his way out...
Brent turned and faced to the left, pretty sure he was about to head in that direction. Then, true to what he'd thought before, the stairs turned right. He should have just turned right to begin with. When the stairs decided to come to a stop, he was left facing one Dora Umbridge--his co-Hogwartian, his co-IMPS challenger, and yet his opponent all at the same time. She looked busy, too, which made him feel sort of bad to be interrupting her.
"What's up, Dora?" he greeted. "Sorry to interrupt you. I was trying to head down, but apparently I can figure out IMPS challenges but not the moving staircases."
Dora looked up only when she heard the voice call her name. And she recognized it from classes. So that was a good start. A small, albeit tight, smile tugged at her lips. "
No, it's fine. How are you?" she asked as she closed her book and gave him her undivided attention.
Not sure for how long, but for now he had the attentions.
The Gryffindor tilted her head to one side as she considered the boy. He kept using runes in the challenges and the blonde wondered why. Like why did he take the time to do that? Not that it wasn't impressive, but it was certainly time consuming. It interested her a bit.
