She ran her finger down the list of ingredients... "I'll get supplies," except for 'a handful' wasn't a very good measurement. What if someone had REALLY big hands? Or reaaaaaally tiny hands, like Zoryn? Would that make a difference? The Gryffindor wasn't sure, but why the heck would she ask the Professor when they could just do it and see what happened!??! That'd be more fun.

And with that she hopped off her seat and bounced her way towards the shelves where all the potion things were kept, her hair bouncing along behind her. After a few short minutes, she returned releasing all the things from her arms and straight onto the table-top. So many things!! The likes of which were a measuring cup, sage, aloe vera, and what she was somewhat sure were calendulas.

He KNEW he could count on Zoryn to be on the same page as him. Ever since they had both fallen out of that boat they were DESTINED to be friends, you know? Maybe not exactly the two peas in a pod sort of thing like he and Abey - although things had been WEIRD there since the cruise party - but still super good friends!

"OKAY! I'll s-start on the potion," he nodded. Because the first two steps were something he could handle. Probably. He still wasn't so good with Cleaning Charms though and he had seen LOADS of that during the second task...so it only seemed right that he do one now....only the incantation was kinda hard for him to say. Um...he was just going to turn the cauldron upside down first and hit the bottom of it to get any dust and stuff out...yeeeeeeeees...

Turning the cauldron right side up again, Derf cleared his throat and as CLEARLY as possible attempted to conjure water. "AguAMenTI!" He produced water alright...a bit TOO much and the blast sent water in every which direction - mostly back at himself and drenching his robes as though he had just taken a dip in the lake again. But HEY! At least he had got water into the cauldron, right?!

Grinning to himself despite resembling a wet crup, he BEAMED at Zoryn when she returned with all their ingredients. "TADA! Water." OH WAIT! Pointing his wand at the burner. "INCENDIO!" Oh...that was...a lot of FIRE. UM UM UM! Turning the heat down a little, Derf glanced over his shoulder a bit sheepishly at Zoryn. "...and fire."

Burst nasty boils

Ingredients:
One gallon of water
A handful of sage
A stalk of aloe vera
Calendulas (enough to make 3 tbs)

Instructions:
Fill Cauldron with water
Bring it to a boil
Chop and add the handful of sage
Add the stalk of aloe vera to your cauldrons and steep them for 10 minutes
Crush the calendula and add three teaspoons of it
Stir thirteen times clockwise
Turn up the heat and simmer the potion til it thickens and turns brown
Cool it to room temperature
