This child... Dora shook her head as she spoke again, curls bouncing. "By that logic we could all quit school once we learned what we wanted to know. I think I can master fire and destruction without much help, but I still attend my class and study." See. Positive role model status! Or something like that. And now the child was doing cartwheels? How was that a show of being well rounded?
A brow quirk happened.
"So what? I can walk in stilettos. Try that sometime." THAT was hard work, bro. Like REAL hard to master. Any old fool could do some flips. Like probably Dora could if she was inclined to get up and do so? Which she wasn't.
And then the question... that she didn't QUITE have an answer for. Not a logical one anyway. And she wasn't trying to sway anyone's opinion on them, or anyone else for that matter, so she opted for a shrug. Nothing more. Her reasons, whether understandable to others or not were her own. "I have my reasons," she muttered before flexing her wrist to make her wand slide into her hand. Distractedly, she twirled it between two fingers and sighed.
And again with a question that she didn't want to answer, really. Especially because her reason for thinking Hirsch, or anyone else for that matter, was rude was a personal peeve. Like, she didn't appreciate being laughed at. It was patronizing and rude, but that was her THING. So another shrug. But no further explanation or comments were going to be made on this one.
"Because I am aware of my surroundings and get away quickly I guess. And I am honest about it if confronted... which kind of means people have known what I did, but they never CAUGHT me anyway. Anyhow, it is important to be sneaky. Make yourself unseen. I learned how to move around without anyone noticing me a long time ago. People just don't... pay any attention to me. And I prefer it that way," she said with ANOTHER shrug. Yay for shoulder muscle exercise? Or whatever muscle that was. "Best way to learn is to start watching people and things around you. Be quiet and observe. Then you start to learn."
