That. Hear me out. That was never a good sign. The Moxinator braced herself for whatever crazy idea was about to be presented to her, already wearing her encouraging face just in case, but what Mr. Allen said next caught her off guard and it took everything in her not to snort.

"Hear me out, Mr. Allen." She took a sip of her drink before continuing. "What would the main reasons be for having this pool? Would there be an appropriate dress code? Who would clean and maintain it? Who would supervise swimmers in case anything went wrong?" Asking questions, lots of questions, she found, was the best way to knock down an idea without actually, you know, saying no. More often than not, she found the kids gave up.

Smiling, she sat back in her chair and waited for the answers.
