Aurora was surprised at how long it took for the key to actually become loose and was a bit shocked when it finally did so - she stumbled backward a bit, holding on tightly to the key that she had finally misplaced. She wasn't sure what she was expecting to happen, but when all the came was a low rumbling, she frowned. No secret door? No grand explosion of success? She sighed and looked down at the key in her hand before dropping the dumb thing on the floor.
There was now a space where the key had been. Part of her just wanted to rip out all the keys and hope she found something underneath...but that would be silly. And awfully time consuming.
Instead, she rolled up her sleeve and leaned forward, reaching her arm through the hole she had just made. Thank goodness her arms were skinny, otherwise it might not have fit! She reached her hand as far as it could possibly go into the inner workings of the piano, hoping her fingers would wrap around something useful...and not a dead rat or anything horrifying like that...
