Tempest walked into the garden, trying to pretend those activists outside weren't butchering a Billy Joel song to excuse their ignorance. The muggles might have mucked up the planet but it was their planet too. If it wasn't taken care of everyone would suffer.

Or at least this was her opinion. But she was an Auror, not a politician and really not even from this country. She hoped MACUSA would be following suit. The Auror in her was a bit concerned with the crowd outside. Maybe she should have stayed closer to the front in case anything happened.. But she supposed she wasn't the only Auror here. Constant vigilance nontheless.. The phrase made her think of a man.. Not just any man, one she was particularly fond of.

Would he be here tonight? She knew one of the speakers was a Hogwarts professor.. so maybe another wouldn't be unlikely?

Whether he showed or not she was determined to have a good night, educational and all that.
