SHE COULD GET CLOSER TO THE UNDEAD!!!

Jessa zoomed out of her seat and over to the holographs, circling them, looking them up and down...running her hand through them. Such great detail...."I know." She responded, positively distracted by the things set before her. "But like I've said, sometimes you've got to be prepared to take risks in order to make discoveries. Otherwise nothing will ever get done." Fascinating, so very fascinating they were--as was the information the Professor had just offered up to them.

With each one he spoke of, Jessa turned to face that particular holograph, trying to locate as many of the attributes as she could while the man spoke. It helped her get everything in.

When it was finally time to move one, Jessa skipped over to get herself a fire suit, reapplying the bubblehead charm just in case it suddenly ended while she was in the middle of practice. Now then, about that spell.

"Lus-tro Cir-cu-lus.....Lustro Circulus.....Lust-ro Circul-us...."

Like cracking a whip? That shouldn't have been too hard. The Ravenclaw practiced the one movement a couple times, wanting to make sure she'd gotten it down perfectly and had found a comfortable way to go about it that wouldn't result in her dislocating her shoulder FROM ALL THE EXCITEMENT.

Once she felt she had both down pat, she got her concentration into focus. Think of the flames, a ring of fire. She could do the lasso some other time but needed to be sure she was set on one. "Lustro Circulus!" The faintest of fire rings appeared. It was there...without really being there at all. Curious. She would simply have to try again. "Lustro Circulus!" This time, a more pronounced ring of fire manifested. It didn't shine as bright as the fire the Professor had burning for them all but it was a better start than her first attempt and told her she was on the right track.

Again.

"Lustro Circulus!" This time, there was a bright and brilliant flame but it disappeared nearly as quickly as it had appeared. Huh. Surely there was something she was missing. Was there no inbetween?? "Lustro Circulus"
