| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Nobody else seemed to be worried about not being entirely sure what the results of the spell were supposed to look like. Stasya was a little frustrated by that, and the fact that Professor Hirsch hadn’t even been really sure what the results would be. Either it would be a lasso or a ring, but she wasn’t entirely sure why it couldn’t be one or the other. Of course, if she could manage either, it’d be kind of cool, but she didn’t know how she’d know if she cast it right if she didn’t know the expected result for sure. Her intent was just to actually manage to cast the spell right.
She wasn’t going to know unless she tried. There was a moment of wondering if the squid might want to see what they were doing, too, but she couldn’t ask it. She didn’t even know if the squid was nearby. Maybe he was hibernating or whatever squids did during the winter.
Taking a deep breath, she tried to focus on just the spell. Maybe she’d try for the ring first, and work her way up to the lasso. “Lustro Circulus!,” she said yet again, this time at the same time she did the whip-like movement, and she looked hopefully at the empty space in front of her. But she only saw the faintest of smoke rings fading away, so she tried again. . “Lustro Circulus!” She was going to keep trying until she at least got some sort of fire out of it.
