| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict With all the information coming in, Stasya had lapsed into silence instead of continuing on the track her earlier responses had been going in. Professor Hirsch hadn’t told her she was wrong, after all, and honestly she didn’t really have an answer as to how the three different creatures were different. Not anything that she hadn’t learned from what everyone else had said. Plus, she could hardly think with all the information that was coming to her, so it was easier to focus on taking notes. She wanted to remember it all, after all, and that meant she had to try and write it down.
Especially when new spells were being introduced, and she made sure she got all the information about that written down. She did like fire spells, in her own way. She’d managed to cast a lot of the ones she knew, anyway, so she was hoping she could manage this one too. Depending on others wasn’t always something she wanted to do. Setting her notes down, she had jumped up to go get a firesuit. A smaller one. Not like one that would fit Liv or Henry or some of the other older students she knew. That and she made sure she had her wand out before she had wriggled into the firesuit she’d chosen. She was going to need that, and once she figured she was as comfortable as she could be, she ran over to the edge of the lake.
“Lustro Circulus,” she whispered to herself, keeping her wand lowered as she worked on the incantation. That and wondered if they’d be allowed to use this in dueling, if she was up against someone other than one of her friends. Because she definitely didn’t want to use this against any of them. “Lustro Circulus. Lustro Circulus. Lustro Circulus.”
The wand movement, though, was fun. Even if she wasn’t particularly fond of whips, since they could hurt creatures. She was okay with hurting bad creatures though, creatures that wanted to hurt her. Dark creatures. Like what they were talking about in the lesson, even if she still felt like flying over them made more sense. And also, now that she’d practiced the two parts of the spell, she kind of wished that the professor had actually shown them what the spell was supposed to look like.
