Flailing, unhappy, violent tree! The Willow would have pummeled any living thing to come near it at this time, and that was when the Horned Serpent sent an array of birds in its general direction. These birds were lucky ones today. Branches couldn’t quite hit them, but one of them did graze the tail end of one of the birds, making it emit a THWIRP sound, and sent it spiraling to the ground. It was still alive. It might be okay. Best not to worry about it, though. Keep brewing. You need all the time you can manage.
