Thanks to the smoke cloud, Rula couldn't see whether her blindfold had landed, but hearing that Finite, she smiled. So far so good, it seemed. And she could move in the direction of his voice...

Oh crud.

That blast of wind blew the smoke away, revealing both of their positions, and she wasn't at all as close as she'd aimed to be. And she was a split second too late in casting any defensive spell, the jinx hitting her before she even got the word out.

...What word was it even? Crud. Merlin's beard. Um...um...

"Flipendo!"

...That didn't seem like what she'd been thinking of. Easiest incantation she could think to say though. Not that it was a particularly strong casting of it either.

Ugh. She needed...a spell to help her...focus. What...what kinda spell...?
