{Background}

Kingsley Mathayus Fontaine was raised in an orphanage in Orlando, Florida ever since the day he was born. He was set to be adopted after birth, but the family who was going to adopt him backed out the week before he was born. His biological mother and father, who he has no information on, were unable to care for him and knew he would do better in life if he had different parents.

He was in the orphanage for almost three years before he found his forever family.

Celine Vaidehi Fontaine and her husband, Daniel Christopher Fontaine, had been trying to have kids for years until they came to the point where they realized adoption was there only chance of having a child of their own. It was a long process adopting Kingsley, but in the end, he was brought into family where he grew up with the other Fontaine children. He became close to his cousin, Brysen, who was closer in age to him. They practically acted like siblings.

At 11-years-old, Kingsley began his journey at Illvermorny, and he could not of been anymore excited. He was sorted into Thunderbird and easily made a few friends his first week in. He had a lot of ups and downs at Illvermorny, but he learned more and more about himself throughout his school life. It was during his seventh year that he realized he wanted to do International work, and upon graduating, he began to study at Wizarding University in Salem, Massachusetts. He studied Wizarding Relations and Foreign Language. During his time at Wizarding University, he learned how to speak Japanese.

When he graduated from University, he was offered a job at The Fontaine Corporation where his Uncle Joseph was CEO. He worked his way up to Foreign Relations Manager, and it was in November 2089 that him and his Uncle Joseph had a falling out. He left the company and drastically moved to Japan with a few dollars to his name --- a drastic move that his older cousin, Brysen, had already done a few years back when he moved to California to get away.

His first few months in Japan were hard as he tried to get back on his feet. He bartended at nearby bar until he had enough money to move into an apartment then he found himself a job as an English tutor at a nearby learning academy. He taught there until a job came up as a translator and interpreter at a nearby company, which was as close to an international career as he could find. He worked at that company until he decided he wanted to do more with his knowledge, and as much as it hurt to move back to his roots, he will always have room in his heart for Japan.

He moved to California in October 2092 and applied for a job at the Ministry of Magic where he got a job at Level 5, International Cooperation. He plans to find a place in London, England to reside at. Until then, he his living with a family member.
